Complex functions, operators, partial differential
equations, and applications in mathematical physics
International conference held at the
Mittag-Leffler Institute (Stockholm, Sweden)
June 12-16, 2017
in honor of Dmitry Khavinson on the occasion of his
sixtieth birthday
The conference will be focused on the following main themes
- Partial differential equations and free boundary
problems;- Operator theory and Bergman spaces;
- Extremal problems and approximation theory;
as well as on adjacent particular topics, e.g.,
- Laplacian growth;
- Gravitational microlensing.
Dmitry Khavinson has been at the forefront of the above themes
and one of the purpose of the conference is to celebrate his
60-th birthday and his contribution to mathematics through
research, scholarship, teaching, and mentoring.
VENUE
The
Mittag-Leffler Institute is a mathematical research
institute located in Djursholm, a suburb of Stockholm. It
hosts small conferences during summer providing
accommodation and the conference room on the premises. Due
to restricted number of participants (about 30 persons) all
of them are by invitation only.
The institute provides breakfast, coffee-breaks and lunches
as well as a conference dinner.
This is a link to nowhere.
Organizing Committee
- Peter Ebenfelt (University of California San Diego,
USA);
- Matthew Fleeman (Baylor University, USA);
- Erik Lundberg (Florida Atlantic University, USA);
- David Shoikhet (Holon Institute of Technology and
ORT Braude College, Israel);
- Alan Sola (Stockholm University, Sweden);
- Alexander Vasiliev (University of Bergen, Norway)
Arriving at the Mittag-Leffler Institute
Mittag-Leffler Institute is located in Djursholm, about 10 km
northeast of the city, 7 km from the KTH, Royal Institute of
Technology campus, and 4 km from the campus of Stockholm
University.
The easiest way is after you arrive at the central station
(T-Centralen) is to take subway to Mörby Centrum and then
change to the bus number 606 to Djursholms torg. For more
