As we share stories from our different religious and cultural backgrounds, it becomes evident that there are many commonalities among religions. One is that we ought to help the other. The refugee crisis is a social justice issue that cannot  be ignored. Better Together BU has decided to unite to support refugees.

In fall 2016, our interfaith group put on a fundraising concert. We also welcomed a representative from the Refugee Services of North Texas to tell us more about the crisis and how we can help in real and tangible ways. Our group is continuing its efforts to further educate campus about the issue.
