Since 2008, the Academy for Teaching and Learning has pursued its mission “to support and inspire a flourishing community of learning” through programs like the Summer Faculty Institute, Seminars for Excellence in Teaching, and University Teaching Development Grants. By mentoring teachers, facilitating discussion on teaching, and supporting teaching development, the ATL serves Baylor’s instructors with practical guidance and inspiration.

In the 2018-19 academic year, we celebrated our 10th Anniversary through a series of reflective essays Called to Teach: Brief Essays on the Meaning of Teaching and a 10th Anniversary Symposium Called to Teach held Friday, October 12, 2018, in Bill Daniel Student Center.
