Study Shows Re-telling What You’ve Seen or Read Aids Longer-term Recall

Forbes published an article based on research led by Melanie Sekeres, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology and neuroscience in Baylor’s College of Arts & Sciences, outlining tips for remembering details. Sekeres’s study found that immediately telling someone about something you’ve read or seen, or writing down the details, will help create a type of memory track that can be accessed in the future.
